Tad's going away party

my dear friend and co-worker, tad miller, decided with his wife to move their family to denver, colorado for work opportunities. while everyone at work was very happy for their family, we were all very sad to lose a very, very good PA and friend. the included pics are a few of the snapshots i was able to get when we went to his going away party at dave & busters on the 25th. good luck, tad!

the best thing about having a birthday during spring break? always more than one birthday party! on wednesday the 18th, i went out with two of my gal pals from nursing school. they wouldn't tel lme what we were doing, but said i should wear comfortable "work-out" clothes. when we finally got to frisco, they informed me we would be taking a pole-dancing class! i was a little hesitant at first, but it turned out being really fun and a killer workout! (seriously, my abs were sore for days!) i would highly recommend it to anyone for fun or fitness! and what better way to cap off a workout? dinner at gloria's! very tasty!!! i only have a few pics (it's hard to capture the moment when you're trying to learn how to look graceful on a pole!) and they're below! thanks so much, melissa & crystal!!!

on sunday, i celebrated birthday #24 with my family. we had homemade chicken kiev, rolls, broccoli salad and creme de minthe! YUM! i also go to go on a scavenger hunt for my birthday gift...a brand new garmin GPS unit (which i had wanted). thanks to my wonderful family for making my birthday so special!!! xoxo!

my birthday 24.1

i was lucky enough to be able to convince someone to trade my usual saturday night shift for friday the week of my birthday (thanks, jenny!), and this meant i actually had saturday night free to celebrate. and what better way to celebrate than to hang out at pete's piano bar with a bunch of friends?! i met up with a group of friends and spent the night (and first few hours of my actual birthday) singing and dancing and drinking blue martinis...yum! thanks to everyone who made that night so much fun! enjoy the pics :)

olivia's 3rd birthday

we celebrated liv's 3rd birthday in the usual style...with a party at the proctor's house with cake, balloons, slideshow, pizza and presents! liv had a great time and it was a lot of fun to watch her really enjoy the birthday festivities! happy birthday, olivia!
