a friend of mine from nursing school is marrying her sweetheart in june of next year. her parents decided to throw them an engagement dinner complete with photo slideshow, catered tex-mex, yummy desserts, good music and a tent with lights, tables/tablecloths/centerpieces in their very nice backyard! it was lots of fun and gave me the chance to catch up with friends from nursing school. the food was VERY tasty and the weather was great aside from some very STRONG winds. the only bad part was that i actually had to go into work that night after it was all over :(

Haha..other than the crazy wind it was a great time!
Yall will hafta come over for dinner sometime soon. I'm sure your schedule is crazy busy like ours, but we should get together ASAP :)
