3 weeks

samantha grace is 3 weeks old (tomorrow)! how time flies!  and in our family there is no slowing down, so this week has been as busy as ever.  fortunately i don't feel like i've had a baby at all (aside from having to nurse a baby every 2 or 3 hours) so getting ready to get settled into a new house doesn't seem like nearly as daunting of a task as it otherwise might be.
little sammy has been dealing with all this upheaval, well, gracefully.  keeping her own little nursing schedule and going for 4 hour stretches at night.  the only real setbacks we had this week were actually with noah's schedule, since we spent the weekend on lake texoma with my parents. matt wasn't able to stay overnight with us since he had to work, so noah, sam, and i all stayed and shared one big room.  it was all fine until sam would wake in the morning around 5 am to nurse... and wake noah up in the process.  noah was a trooper, though, and took good naps in the afternoon and had enough other distractions to keep him from getting too cranky.  the kids seem to be adjusting just fine to one another.  noah is very good about being gentle with his little sister, and sam doesn't seem to mind being loved on by her big brother.
after we got back, we spent the rest of this week getting ready for moving day, which is tomorrow!  can't wait to start a new chapter of our lives in the new house ...although i'm a little nervous about moving two kids and knowing that it's going to shake up their routines a bit.  we'll just have to see how it goes! check back soon for more updates!
