Sweet Evan is continuing to grow and discover the world around him. He continues to be more alert, but unfortunately isn't always very happy about being awake :/
I'm not sure, still, if we might have some "silent reflux," a food sensitivity, or just general baby fussiness. Matt and I have discussed how each of our children have been so different -- Noah was nearly inconsolable because of his acid reflux, Sam was, quite possibly, the most content child on the planet, and Evan seems to fall somewhere inbetween ;)
At any rate, he is still a sweet boy and is growing more handsome by the day. We are still working on establishing a solid nursing/playtime/sleeping routine, but seem to be making progress. Evan will easily go for 3-4 hours between feedings, but sometimes he won't nap at all during that time. Seems like an awfully long time for a 4 week old to be awake! Of course, immediately after he eats at the next feeding he will pass out and will sleep for 5 or 6 hours if I let him (not going to happen during the day, sorry kid!).
Noah and Sam continue to be excellent helpers and older siblings, bringing Evan and I diapers, wipes, pacifiers, blankets, and loveys anytime they think Evan needs something. I'm so happy to see that everyone seems to be doing so well and can't wait until Evan gets a little older to be able to interact with them even more. Yay for siblings!
