my friend natalie is now a mommy (see her baby shower pics)! on october 8th at 0148 she delivered her 7 lbs 19 3/4 inches long baby girl kendall brianne lyons. natalie had called me around noon on wednesday to let me know that she was headed to baylor dallas (bumc) for an induction per her doctors instructions. her amniotic fluid level had dropped, so natalie was started on pitocin early in the afternoon. natalie did a great job and came through the delivery with the two things she wanted: a healthy baby and no c-section! yay! mom & baby stayed at the hospital until saturday and both are home now...healthy and happy!
if anyone is wondering why my schedule has been so odd this week, it's because i worked tuesday night, then went to some meetings, then met up with natalie at the hospital wednesday and went home after kendall was born thursday...a 36 hour stretch of awake-ness! sorry to everyone, but i'm so glad i could be there for natalie & kendall!
